Manna from Heaven Inc., was founded in 1999 as a caring and giving organization, dedicated to helping the the most needy here in Lafayette Indiana.

Over the past 12 and half years we have attracted NASCAR Driver's, Hockey Players, Fortune 500 companies and local groups even Harley Riders! We have now grown to a National organization dedicated to the same principles, but on a bigger playing field.

 “Manna From Heaven Inc., and the board members,  continue their efforts to attract businesses, churches, clubs, professional athletes and individuals to help those in need, right here in America!

Fact:

The unemployment rate in the United States was last reported at 8.2 percent in May of 2012. Historically, from 1948 until 2012, the United States Unemployment Rate averaged 5.7 the past 64 years... Weekly applications for unemployment aid declined by 2,000 to a seasonally adjusted 387,000, the Labor Department said.

The members of the board make every effort to help the most needy every day, but the numbers have grown at epidemic proportions, out weighing the capacity of even the government programs.
In addition: Educating and counseling these people both financially and personally so that they can provide financially for themselves without falling into the same pitfalls.


 Please remember this,  when it’s time to reward someone in crisis or a noble cause...it's good to know your good fortune can actually reach the less fortunate.

Jim Hiestand founded and incorporated Manna From Heaven in 1999. His passion and strong desire to help others inspired the conception of the organization. The initial funds to start the organization came from the successful sale of a stock market investment. The funds were enough to jumpstart the tax-exempted organization, which has been supported by individuals, companies and groups with a desire to make a difference in the lives of many. He and his wife, Denise has been married for 35 years and they have three loving daughters.

Denise Hiestand has a passion for helping people in need. She enjoys solving problems and encouraging others through innovative and creative methods that help individuals to live better lives. Manna From Heaven is a nonprofit organization that endeavors to fulfill this mission with a heart for helping people change their circumstances in a positive way. She enjoys being on the board and helping to achieve its mission. Denise has her MFA with Indiana State University in Terre Haute and her BFA with Herron School of Art at IUPUI in Indianapolis, Indiana.
